SaltEB at the Batseta Winter Conference

We have some wonderful news to share and we think you will be just as proud as we are.

Following the recent Batseta Winter Conference in Sun City, our Chief Experience Officer, Nazlie Seegers, delivered a session titled “From Allocation to Outcomes: Embedding Member Experience into Investment Decision-Making in African Pension Funds” and it clearly struck a chord.

Retirement fund experts from the Retirement Fund Institute of Namibia (RFIN) featured Nazlie’s session in a published article, describing it as one of the most thought-provoking of the entire conference. Her message that trustees do not merely govern portfolios, but govern member retirement outcomes is exactly the kind of thinking that reflects who we are as an organisation.

This recognition means even more given the year we are in.

Salt Employee Benefits is celebrating 70 years in 2026 which means we are as old as the Pension Funds Act itself. For seven decades, we have grown alongside the very legislation that shapes our industry, and moments like this remind us why that history matters.

It is proof that the principles we have built our reputation on which are putting members first, doing things properly and leading with integrity are not just internal values. They are values the industry is starting to take note of.

We encourage you to take a few minutes to read the full article. It is a proud reflection of the kind of thought leadership Salt EB brings to the table, and a reminder that the work each of you does every day contributes to a bigger story.
